The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 53 CRAIG, Donald Gerald WWII Donald was born in Rose Town, Saskatchewan on July 28, 1924. He joined the Army in November 1943 and served as a Private in the Essex Scottish Regiment and the Canadian Scottish Regiment, serving in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Donald was a member of RCL Bowness Branch 238 for forty-five years. He died on June 5, 1974. CRAWFORD, Garnet WWII Garnet went to school in Viscount, Saskatchewan and farmed south of there, later moving to the Birch Hills region to farm. Garnet served in World War II. CREDGEUR, John WWII John was born in Viscount, Saskatchewan on October 17, 1916. He joined the Army and served as a Sapper during World War II. With his wife, Marcelle Clavelle, he raised two children and farmed in Dundurn where he lived until he passed away.
