He is listed in the March 2, 1917 edition of The Viscount Sunas one of the men who enlisted from the Viscount district. B. L. was a charter member of the Viscount B.P.O. Elks #161. ULRICH, Harold WWII Harold was born in Young, Saskatchewan. He served in the Army during World War II and he farmed north of Viscount Beach, in the Young area. VANHOUWE, Andrew “Andy” WWII Andy was born on March 29, 1920 in Plunkett, Saskatchewan. He took his schooling in Viscount, finished in Plunkett and helped on the farm until he enlisted. He joined the Army and served with the 32nd Light Anti-Aircraft Battery during World War II. His brother, Henry, also enlisted. After his discharge, Andy married Phyllis Vases and they raised three children. He continued farming until he retired.
