The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 377 SOLLOSY, Joseph Andrew “Joe” WWII Joe was born in Plunkett, Saskatchewan and went to school there. Afterwards, he operated a R.W. Store in Esk and then Jansen before enlisting. He joined the Army in July 1940 and served overseas as a Sergeant from March 1942 to June 1945. He was discharged in 1945. Joe married Jean Conley with whom he raised two children and worked in Buisers Store in Humboldt, SK before running his own business. He died in July 1980. SOLLOSY, Theodore “Ted” WWII Ted was born in Plunkett, Saskatchewan on April 20, 1914. He went to school at Golden Hill, south of Viscount and taught school for four years before enlisting in the Army. Ted served overseas for four years and after his discharge, worked at the Post office for thirty-five years until he retired. He married Harriet Smith, raised four children, and lived in Saskatoon until his death. Ted enjoyed beekeeping, curling and his cabin at La Ronge, SK. ST. MICHEL, Robert. A. WWII Robert was born to Albert and Elizabeth St. Michel and he attended St. Alphonse School in Viscount, Saskatchewan. He served in the Army in World War II. After his discharge, Robert married, had three children, and lived in Regina, SK.
