The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 349 RAYMOND, Raymond WWI Raymond was born in L’Annonciation, Quebec. On June 24, 1909, he came with his parents, Isaac and Marie Raymond, to homestead in Saskatchewan’s Viscount area and he finished his schooling at Golden Hill School. In 1912, he applied for his own homestead in the Badger school district and he married Laura Dumontier in 1920 in Viscount. Raymond served in World War I. RICHARDSON, Clem P. WWII Clem was born in 1923 in Broadview, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force on June 9, 1941, served as a Pilot Officer, and was discharged on September 17, 1945. Clem was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He later worked as a bank clerk at the Royal Bank in Viscount, SK and was a member of RCL Viscount Branch 271. RICHARDSON, John WWI John served in the Army in World War I. He is one of the men who signed up from Saskatchewan’s Viscount district, as listed in the March 2, 1917 edition of The Viscount Sun.
