He joined the Navy and served with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve during World War II. After his discharge, he married Loreen Kisman. John played ball with the ‘Prairie Rangers’ baseball team and was employed as an accounts manager of Quaker Oats Company in Middleton, New Brunswick until his death in 1978. HORON-AMBROSE, Mary PEACETIME Mary was born in Saskatoon, SK on November 28, 1932. She enlisted in the Navy reserves in 1952 but there is no record of her leaving the service. Mary married. HORSLEY, J. B. WWII J. B. Horsley was born on June 20, 1921 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy on October 15, 1941 and served in Canada and on the high seas. He left the service on October 15, 1945 as Leading Seaman. He married.
