The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 213 HOGAN, Thomas Edward “Tom” WWII Tom was born in Viscount, SK on August 27, 1914. He joined the Army on February 4, 1942 and served as a Private with the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland and England. He was awarded the France and Germany Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, and the 1939-45 Star. He was discharged on February 2, 1946. His brother, Elmer, also enlisted and served in World War II. Tom was a mechanic in Viscount and never married. He joined The Royal Canadian Legion on February 20, 1946 and was a member of Viscount Branch 271 for forty-three years. He passed away on May 28, 1989. HOGARTH, Earl R. WWII Earl was born on October 4, 1926 at Moosomin, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in October 1944 and served as Leading Seaman in the Royal Canadian Navy until he left the service in December 1945. Earl married. HOGG, Bridget WWII Bridget was born on March 20, 1922 in London, England. She enlisted in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force for duty with the Royal Air Force in March 1941 and served in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. She was a Section Officer when she left the service in August 1945. Bridget married.
