He enlisted in 1952, served in Canada with the 14th Canadian Hussars, and left the service in 1963. Ramon married. HOFLIN, John WWII John was born on July 13, 1912. He enlisted in Saskatchewan in the 22nd Armoured Regiment, the Canadian Grenadier Guards, and served overseas as Guardsman. He was killed in action on September 11, 1944 and is interred in the Adegem Canadian War Cemetery near Eeklo, Belgium. HOGAN, Elmer WWII Elmer was born in Viscount, Saskatchewan. With his brother, Tom, he enlisted in the Army and served in World War II. Elmer raised three children with his wife, Margaret Root, and they have made their home in Red Deer, Alberta.
