He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in World War II. After his military service, he obtained his engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He worked in the oil patch, eventually founding his own company, Viking Oil and Gas. Gunnar had three children with his wife, Rose, and he passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on February 28, 2006. HAW, B.D. PEACETIME B.D. Haw was born in Saskatoon, SK on March 9, 1949. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy on September 20, 1965 and served on HMCS Unicorn. He left the service as Ordinary Seaman on November 6, 1968. He married. HAYES, Malcolm C. PEACETIME Malcolm was born on August 14, 1942 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He enlisted in the British Army on April 9, 1961 and served in the British electrical and mechanical engineers (REME) until leaving the service on April 8, 1963 as a Private. Malcolm married.
