Herb and his brother, Alf, both enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was discharged in 1943. Herb raised three children with his wife, Maxine Cameron. Their last residence was in Saskatoon, SK. GLOVER, Hugh Brown WWI Hugh was born on March 22, 1875 in Galston, Ayr, Scotland. He joined the Army on January 26, 1916 in Saskatoon, SK and served overseas during World War I. He was a tinsmith by trade and was married to Jane and living in Saskatoon at the time of his enlistment. Hugh is mentioned in the March 2, 1917 edition of The Viscount Sun as a returned veteran from the Viscount area. GODDARD, Dudley “Dud” WWII Dud was born on May 9, 1926 in Cabri, Saskatchewan. In 1940, he enlisted in the Army Reserves in Cabri then went to the Army, serving in the 14th Canadian Light Horse Reserve. He was a Trooper when he left the service in 1945. Prior to enlisting, he had been a farmer but after the war, he worked from 1944-86 at the University of Saskatchewan as supervisor of electrical and mechanical services. Dud married and had two daughters.
