He joined the Royal Canadian Navy on July 25, 1955 and served on the high seas. An Ordinary Seaman when he left the service on July 25, 1957, he is now employed as secretary of Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans of Canada in Saskatoon. He married. GILROY, Gordon PEACETIME Gordon was born in Belfast, Ireland on September 13, 1935. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy on July 12, 1956 and left the service on July 6, 1958 as Able Seaman. Gordon married. GJOSUND, Alfred WWII Alfred was born in Meacham, SK and attended the York and Meacham schools. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force along with his brother, Herb, and they served during World War II. After his discharge, Alfred farmed in the Meacham area and married Alice Clouston, with whom he raised three sons. He died in 1965.
