EWEN, John “Jack” WWII Jack’s family was living in Viscount, SK when he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. He served as a Corporal during World War II while his brothers also enlisted, Ben in the Navy and Gillian in the Air Force. Jack was married when they lived in Viscount and his dad was the telephone linesman for Viscount Rural Telephone. FARAGO, Albert WWII Albert was born on January 9, 1922 in Plunkett, SK and was raised on a farm in the area. He then moved to Toronto, ON in 1938 but came back to Saskatoon, SK where he enlisted with the Royal Canadian Navy in 1940, serving until his discharge in 1945. Albert married Shirley Taylor.
