BRADLEY, Edward WWII Edward was born in 1925 in Central Butte, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army in Regina during WWII, serving in Canada until his discharge. Edward has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Big River Branch #136 for 36 years. BRAGET, Gilbert R. WWII Gilbert was born in 1918 in Watson, SK. He enlisted with the Army in January of 1942 and took his basic training in Regina, then was transferred to Debert, NS where he joined the British Columbia Regiment (B.C.R.ʼs) Tank Regiment. He went overseas in August 1942 and was stationed in Brighton, England. Gilbert saw action in Falaise, France where he was taken prisoner in the Normandy Invasion. He arrived in Regina in July, 1945 and got his discharge in October of that year. Gilbert passed away on July 20, 2001. BRENNAN, John WWI John was born on June 16, 1895 in Cornadough, Ireland. He enlisted with the Army in May of 1918. He served with the C.E.F Saskatchewan Regiment in England until his discharge in June of 1919. He married Ruth Smith in Elbow and raised 10 children. John passed away on August 1, 1974. BRENNER, Howard Arthur WWII Howard was born on August 28, 1908 in Sagerville, Michigan. He came to the Coronach District with his parents in 1909. He joined the Army in 1942 and served in the Tank Corps in Canada until his discharge in 1945. He married Sylvia Catling while serving and they returned to the Coronach District to farm and raise their family. He was past president of the Coronach Legion #268 and served the branch faithfully from 1953-1987. Howard passed away in 1987. BRITTON, Harry WWII Harry was born in 1922 in New Brigden, AB. He served with the 86th Bridge Company, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps during WWII. He met and married Rose Baker in London in 1945 and the couple raised 8 children. Harry owned a Singer Sewing Machine Center in Lloydminster. He passed away in 1978. The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 37
