Military Service Recognition Book 34 Wawota Branch #113 of The Royal Canadian Legion. The town of Wawota and surrounding districts proudly and reverently remember those men from the area who gave their lives for their country during the two great wars. This Cenotaph is a lasting monument to the thirty-eight men from our area who paid the supreme sacrifice for our country’s freedom. Their names, etched onto this granite stone, will last into perpetuity. The Wawota Branch #113 was formed in 1928 and has had an active part in the community ever since. Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month except for July and August. We Will Remember Them.
