WWI William was born in Brudenell, PEI in 1893. He served with the Canadian Army in the 1st Canadian Expeditionary Force from 1914-19. He served in Canada, England, France, Belgium and Holland. William is deceased. (85939) DOCHERTY, Earl Alexander WWII Earl was born in Kingston, PEI in 1917. He served with the Canadian Army. Earl passed away in 1993. (F31201) DOCKENDORFF, Edgar Jacob WWII Killed in Action Edgar was born in Mount Hope, PEI in 1917. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force, 415th Squadron as a flight engineer and was sent overseas. While flying out of Tain, near Edinburg, Scotland, on a North Sea submarine patron, Edgar was killed when his plane collided with another. He had been married less than a year, with his widow, Marion Hume, residing in Charlottetown. (R72726) DOCKENDORFF, Gordon Warren WWII Gordon was born in Mount Hope, PEI in 1924. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in Charlottetown and Moncton, and was posted to Summerside, Goose Bay, and Labrador, being discharged in 1945.
