We Will Remember Them Ontario Command 7 www.on.legion.ca 2026 I would like to extend my warm greetings to the readers and contributors of the 13th edition of The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command's Military Service Recognition Book. This edition reflects the Legion’s enduring commitment to remembrance, service and community. It recognizes that military service takes many forms and that every contribution— whether on operations abroad or in support roles at home—deserves to be recorded, respected and remembered. Ontario has long played a central role in Canada’s military history. Ontarians have consistently answered the call to serve. We are home to one of the largest veteran populations in the country. This book helps ensure that no service is forgotten and that future generations understand the sacrifices made so we can live in peace and prosperity. Many thanks to the Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Provincial Command members, volunteers and supporters across Ontario whose efforts have made this publication possible. May this book serve as a lasting symbol of remembrance and a meaningful reminder of Ontario’s ongoing commitment to honouring those who have served Canada.
