We Will Remember Them Ontario Command 9 www.on.legion.ca It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Volume XIII of our Military Service Recognition Book (MSRB). Many volunteer hours have been spent in providing the submissions in this record of history. I couldn’t be more grateful to all of you who have contributed the photos and stories of your friends or loved ones honouring military Veterans within the Province of Ontario who have served our country. By participating in this publication, thousands of veterans and spouses from the Province of Ontario have and continue to benefit from the many Veterans Transition programs that proceeds from these booklets provide. To date over $2.51 million dollars has been raised and those programs continue to change lives. My special thanks to our MSRB committee chair Rae Ann Bauman and her two Provincial Coordinators Carolyn McCaul and Laurie Ridgeway-Stoltz for their commitment and compassion for this publication, which has once again shown such positive results. My thanks as well to the District, Zone, and Branch Coordinators and especially to all Branch and Ladies Auxiliary members who provided the content. To Mark Fenety of Fenety Marketing Services, the publisher of MSRB, thank you and your staff for your continued partnership. Without your effort in reaching out to the advertisers each year this program would not be possible. This publication adds to our mission to serve Veterans and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our communities. Remember the sacrifices that have been made as you browse through. Our Veterans will never be forgotten. Enjoy Volume XIII. Lynn McClellan President Ontario Command A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
