375 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND WATSON, Mary Mary spent her early years with her two sisters in Suffield, Alberta. Following her father’s death, her mother returned to Ontario with her sisters. Like her sister Catherine, Mary graduated from St. Michaels Hospital School of Nursing in Toronto in 1941. She joined the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Nursing Sister serving in Canada. WATSON, Robert Reginald Perry Robert was born in Esquesing, Ontario on November 22, 1893. He enlisted in the Army (Regular Force) on March 3, 1916 and served with the 4th CMG Battalion, and 164 Battalion CEF during World War I in Belgium and in France. He was released on June 6, 1919. He resided in Acton, Ontario and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Acton Branch 197. Robert passed away in 1949. WATSON, Thomas Elliot Thomas was born in Acton, Ontario on October 24, 1922. He enlisted in the Air Force (Regular Force) on February 20, 1941 and served with Casualty Air Evacuation and 127 Wing during World War II in England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. He was released on January 8, 1946. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Acton Branch 197 for 48 years. Thomas passed away on April 21, 1996.
