19 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND ALDCORN, Donald Douglas Donald was born on June 5, 1917, to William and Annabella MacKinnon Aldcorn in Priceville, Ontario, Grey County. He was the fourth son and he and his four brothers all served in World War II. Donald served from 1943 to 1945 with the Royal Canadian Air Force (Regular Force). After the war, he married Helen Allan and worked in Toronto. He retired to Priceville, Ontario where he passed away on December 31, 1993. Donald is buried in the McNeil Cemetery in Priceville. ALDCORN, Thomas Knox Thomas was born in Priceville, Ontario, Grey County, on June 11, 1920. He was the youngest son of William and Annabella MacKinnon Aldcorn. He enlisted in 1941 and served with the Royal Canadian Air Force (Regular Force) in Canada, England and Bahamas until his release in 1945. He and his four brothers all served in World War II. After the war, he married Vivian Shuckburgh and resided in Nampa, Alberta, Peace River District. Tom passed away on October 23, 1999. ALDCORN, Walter James Walter was born in Priceville, Ontario, Grey County, on July 11, 1914, to William and Annabella MacKinnon Aldcorn. He was the second son of five boys who all served in World War II. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1945 in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany with the Royal Highland Regiment Canadian Infantry Corp, Black Watch. After the war, he married Helen Whyte and resided in Toronto, employed by the city of Toronto. Walter retired to Priceville where he passed away on May 15, 1982. He is buried in the McNeil Cemetery in Grey County, Priceville, Ontario.
