483 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND ROGERS, John W. “Jack” John was born in Bracebridge on September 9, 1915. He served as Medical Officer/Surgeon Commander in Canada. After the war, he bought and developed real estate property in Victoria, British Columbia. ROULSTON, Frank Murray Frank, better known as Murray, was born on October 17, 1925 in St. Thomas, Ontario and joined the service in July 1944. He served during World War II in Canada and England with the Infantry Signal Corps being discharged in August 1946. He was in the Signal Corps and on returning he went back to college and studied electronics. He was a past president of the Hanover Lions Club, a fifty year member of the Masonic Lodge 302. He retired after thirty years as area sales manager for Electrohome Ltd. He is a member of Hanover Legion Branch 130. ROHAC, Kurt Kurt was born in Czechoslovakia on October 3, 1922. Kurt, his parents and siblings escaped Czechoslovakia and arrived in Canada in 1939 as refugees. He joined the Army on June 5, 1941 and along with his father and brother, served with the Canadian Army Overseas Intelligence Corps. He served in Canada, United Kingdom, Holland, Germany, and Belgium during World War II. He was discharged on December 4, 1945. He was a member of Richmond Hill Legion Branch 375 for four years. Kurt passed away on December 25, 2010.
