He served with the Canadian Army 2nd Battalion from February 1985 to June 1988. Carl passed away on June 7, 1988. GUSHUE, Tim Service # N84 006 165 Tim was born on the RCAF Station Zweibruecken, Germany on September 26, 1957. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in November 1974. Tim served with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Radio-Teletype Operator, Communications & Electronics Engineering Officer and Personnel Administration Officer. He was posted to Canada, Germany (1979-80) and Belgium (1997-2001). He deployed to United States Central Command Operation Enduring Freedom (2004) and Kandahar, Afghanistan (2011). Tim was a Member of the Order of Military Merit (MMM). He was awarded with the General Campaign Star-South-West Asia, South-West Asia Service medal, Special Service medal (NATO), Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal, Canadian Forces decoration with two clasp, NATO medal Non-Article 5 Operations International Security Assistance Force Afghanistan, Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 65 Brigus.
