Former member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 41 Eastport, NL. Date of death: May 29, 2011. FORD, Andy Service # V84 039 988 Andy was born in Jackson’s Arm, NL on June 16, 1964. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1982. Andy served with the Canadian Army in the Armoured Corps. He was posted to Calgary, Gagetown, Germany, Suffield and Edmonton. He deployed to Lahr, Germany and Bosnia. Andy was awarded the Canadian Decoration, Special Service medal and NATO medal for Former Yugoslavia. FOLEY, Holly Renee Petty Officer Second Class Holly Foley joined the Canadian Armed Forces on March 27, 2003. She’s been posted on the HMCS Preserver, HMCS Montreal, HMCS Athabaskan (2), NCS Halifax, HMCS Cabot, HMCS St. John’s, CFB Halifax and HMCS Halifax on which she is currently serving. She deployed on Operation Narwhal, Cutlass Fury, Operation Renaissance, Operations Reassurance ROTO 8 and ROTO 16. On board HMCS Halifax, she is a Watch Supervisor as a Naval Communicator. She is Assistant Information Systems Security Officer as well as Assistant Senior Naval Communicator and Regulation Petty Officer to the Senior Chief onboard the ship. After more than 19 years of dedicated service to her country, PO2 Foley continues to accept all challenges and display an outstanding work ethic as a senior leader in the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Canadian Navy.
