He was a Life Member of Eastport Branch # 41 of The Royal Canadian Legion. He passed away on November 19th, 1999. BAILEY, John Nelson Service #: 970313 John Nelson Bailey was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland on November 22nd, 1919. He served with the Canadian Army from 1940 to 1945. He was one of the founders and a Life Member of Pleasantville Branch # 56 of The Royal Canadian Legion. He passed away on November 6th, 2004. BAIRD, Nobel Service #: 122025 Nobel Baird was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland on July 16th, 1921. He served with the Royal Air Force from 1940 to 1945. He is presently a member of Eastport Branch # 41 of The Royal Canadian Legion. BAKER, Andrew L. Service #: JX212472 Andrew L. Baker was born in North Harbour, Newfoundland. He served with the Royal Navy. He was killed in action on 24th May 1941 while serving on the H.M.S. Hood.
