She served with the Royal Air Force from 13th October, 1942 to 27th April, 1945 in Scotland. She arrived in Newfoundland in May, 1946. She was the War Bride of Alexander M. Rideout. Helen passed away on 20th December, 1991. Emily C. (Bennett) Rolfe Emily C. (Bennett) Rolfe was born on 12th April, 1922 in Coalville, Leicestershire, England. She arrived in Newfoundland on 15th August, 1945. She is the War Bride of Andrew Rolfe. Catherine (Anderson) Rowsell Catherine (Anderson) Rowsell was born in Edinburgh, Scotland . She met her husband, Alex Rowsell while he was serving with the Canadian Highland Light Infantry in the European Theatre of Operations in 1945. They were married on 25th May, 1946. Catherine sailed from Liverpool aboard the Letitia in September, 1946, landed in Halifax where she met with Alex and they travelled to Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Alex passed away in 1992. Catherine is still living in their house in Corner Brook.
