He served with the Carleton andYork Regiment in Canada, England, Sicily and Italy. Captain Edgar was wounded while in Italy. He was awarded a Mention in Dispatches for his gallant and distinguished service by King George VI. After the war he became a physician and was a medical Officer at the Lancaster DVA. FERLATTE, Roland J. Korea/Corée Roland was born in Dalhousie, NB in 1932. He joined the Canadian Army and served with the 1st Battalion Royal 22nd Regiment in Korea. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Dalhousie Branch 17. Roland passed away in 2003. Roland est né en 1932 à Dalhousie, au N.-B. Il s'est enrôlé dans l'Armée canadienne et a servi avec le 1e Bataillon du Royal 22e Régiment en Corée. Il était membre de la filiale 17 de la Légion royale canadienne à Dalhousie. Roland est décédé en 2003. FLYNN, Albert Russell WWII/Deuxième Guerre mondiale Albert was born in Digdeguash, NB in 1920. He enlisted in World War II with the Carleton andYork Regiment. He served in England, Sicily and Italy. He was killed in action in 1943. Albert is buried in the Pembroke Military Cemetery in Pembroke, Malta. Albert est né en 1920 à Digdeguash, au N.-B. Il s'est enrôlé dans la Seconde Guerre mondiale avec le Régiment Carleton et York. Il a servi en Angleterre, en Sicile et en Italie. Il est tué au combat en 1943.
