He joined the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps and served with the 1st Battalion, Carleton andYork Regiment in England, Holland and the Western Front. It was in the closing stages of an eleven-month campaign to liberate Holland that Frederick and five of his comrades were killed in action. He is buried in the Holten Canadian War Cemetery, Netherlands. Frederick est né le 21 avril 1922 à Grand-Sault, au N.-B. Il est enterré au cimetière de guerre canadien de Holten, aux Pays-Bas. TUBB, Philip Henry WWI/Première Guerre mondiale Philip was born in Birmingham, England on September 20, 1891. He was sent to Canada in 1905 aboard the Siberian along with 142 other children of the British Home Children. He enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in August 1916 and was posted to the 200th Infantry Battalion. He was transferred to the 108th Battalion and sailed to England with his unit in January 1917. He was wounded in action at the Battle of Arras in September 1918. In October Philip was promoted to Corporal and shortly after was sent back to Canada. He was released upon demobilization in May 1919. Philip passed away October 16, 1926. WALLACE, HudsonWilliam WWII/Deuxième Guerre mondiale Hudson was born in Saint John, NB on January 16, 1913. He enlisted with the Canadian Forces on June 14, 1940 and served with the Canadian Scottish Regiment in Canada, France and Germany. Gunner Wallace was wounded on March 28, 1945 while in battle and died of his injuries the next day. He was the recipient of the Good Conduct Badge, the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the War Medal 1939-1945 and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp. His widow received the Memorial Cross. He is buried in the Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery in the Netherlands. Hudson est né le 16 janvier 1913 à Saint John, au N.-B. Sa veuve a reçu la Croix du souvenir. Il est enterré au cimetière de guerre canadien de Groesbeek aux Pays-Bas.
