In 1949 she joined the RCAF as a messing officer. She spent two years at Training Command Headquarters in Trenton as a Food Services Specialist. Isabella was promoted to Flight Lieutenant and appointed Officer Commanding at No.1 School of Food Services at the RCAF Station in Clinton, ON. She was the only woman at the school. In 1944 she graduated from McGill and taught Home Economics at Port Elgin High during the 1960’s. Isabella passed away July 7, 2008. Isabella est née à Williamstown, en Ontario, le 24 mai 1923. En 1949, elle s'est jointe à l'ARC en tant qu'officier. Elle a passé deux ans au quartier général du commandement de la formation à Trenton en tant que spécialiste des services alimentaires. Isabella a été promue au grade de capitaine d'aviation et nommée commandant de la 1ere école de restauration du poste de l'ARC à Clinton, en Ontario. Elle était la seule femme à l'école. Diplômée de l’Université McGill en 1944, elle a enseigné l’économie familiale à Port Elgin High dans les années 1960. Isabella est décédée le 7 juillet 2008. RIDEOUT, Brock E. WWII/Deuxième Guerre mondiale Brock was born on July 4, 1914. Prior to joining the Forces he received his degree from Mount Allison University, cum laude. He served overseas with the Canadian Intelligence Corps from 1943 to 1946 in England, the Netherlands, Italy and Germany. Brock passed away in October 2005. Brock est né le 4 juillet 1914. Avant de rejoindre les Forces, il a obtenu son diplôme avec distinction de l'Université Mount Allison. Il a servi outre-mer au sein du Corps du renseignement canadien de 1943 à 1946 en Angleterre, aux Pays-Bas, en Italie et en Allemagne. Brock est décédé en octobre 2005. RIDEOUT, Clarence Boer War, WWI &WWII Guerre des Boers, Première et Deuxième Guerre mondiale Clarence was born on May 8, 1880 in Simonds, NB. Before joining the Canadian Expeditionary Force Captain Rideout had over ten years serving with the 21st Alberta Hussars, South African Constabulary, the Transvaal Police and the 67th Light Infantry. In World War II, he served with the Home Guard. Clarence had four sons who served in World War II and a cousin, Chester, who was killed in action. Clarence passed away in September 1964. Clarence est né le 8 mai 1880 à Simonds, au N.-B. Avant de se joindre à la Force expéditionnaire canadienne, le capitaine Rideout avait passé plus de dix ans au service des 21e Alberta Hussars, de la police sud-africaine, de la police du Transvaal et du 67e Light Infantry. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il a servi avec la Garde territoriale. Clarence avait quatre fils qui ont servi pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et un cousin, Chester, qui a été tué au combat. Clarence est décédé en septembre 1964.
