He trained with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles at Fort Garry and Fort Osborne Barracks. He had advance training at Shilo, Manitoba. He then served with the 1st Garrison Battalion, guarding the Welland and Chippawa Canals as Rifleman. He advanced for medical training at Camp Borden, Ontario and later served under General Foulkes in the 5th Division with the Royal Canadian Medical Corp. He served in Italy, France, Belgium and Holland. He also served in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Central Mediterranean area and Continental Europe. Albert received his discharge on March 27, 1946. He received the 1939-1945 Star, the Italy Star, the France and Germany Star and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. NAULT, Arthur WWII Arthur Nault was born on March 28, 1921 in Broad Valley, Manitoba. He enlisted on May 22, 1942 at Winnipeg. He served in Canada, Kiska, Britain and Northwest Europe. Arthur received an honourable discharge on March 21, 1946 in Winnipeg with the rank of Private. Arthur received the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-1945. NAULT, Louis WWI Louis Nault was born on August 28, 1896 in St. Pierre, Manitoba. He joined the 1st Depot Battalion out of Winnipeg and served in the army with the 8th Canadian Battalion in France and England. Private Louis Nault was discharged in Winnipeg on January 7, 1918. He passed away at the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg on February 19, 1981.
