Raymond joined the British Army and served with the Royal Army Medical Corps at major British military hospitals in Britain and Germany. Raymond has been a member of Fort Garry Legion Branch 90 for ten years and Henderson Hwy 215 for sixteen years. HEAVER, Sydney E. WWII Sydney was born in 1913 in the Rural Municipality of Argyle, MB. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served in Canada, England, and Continental Europe during WWII. Sydney was a member of Pilot Mound Legion Branch 62 for forty-six years before he died in 1995. HEESAKER, Albert Edward WWII Albert was born in Million, Manitoba on March 7, 1922. He joined the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in 1943 and took his basic training at Camp Borden, Ontario. Because of a knee injury, he only served in Canada. Albert was discharged in 1946 and he passed away on March 28, 2009 in Vancouver, British Columbia. HEBERT (nee RICE), Annie Rebecca WWII Annie was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1920 and served with the Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service in Canada during WWII. She enlisted in the Navy on May 25, 1944 and served on HMCS Conestoga, Cornwallis, Shelburne, Peregrine, and York. She was discharged on February 13, 1946. Annie has been a member of Fort Garry Legion Branch 90 for more than ten years.
