He joined the Army and served at No. 10 District Depot and in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe during World War II. Walter was a member of Selkirk Legion Branch 42 for forty-six years. He died in 1992. TAYLOR, Craig Spence PEACETIME Craig was born in Selkirk, Manitoba in 1946 to Thomas and Doris Taylor. He enlisted in the Army in Winnipeg, joined the 2nd Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry Airborne Regiment and served in Canada and Germany in 1966. Craig is a member of Selkirk Legion Branch 42. TAYLOR, Roy C. WWII Roy was born on June 26, 1923. He joined the Army and served with the Sherbrooke Fusiliers Regiment in Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He has been a member of Winnipeg Beach Legion Branch 61 for more than five years. TAYLOR, Edward P. WWI Edward was born in 1899 in Cotton Parish, England. He enlisted in the Army on August 16, 1917 and was called for service on September 24, 1917. He served with the King’s Liverpool Regiment, 5th Battalion, in England, France, and Germany and was discharged on April 5, 1920. Edward was a very active 31-year member of Lawrence Legion Branch 87 until he died on August 7, 1978.
