He enlisted with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and served with the Winnipeg Rifles in Holland, Belgium and France. He was awarded the France and Germany Star, the War Medal 1939-45 and the King George Medal. Ronald has been a member of Selkirk Legion Branch 42 for sixty years. MORPHET, Elmer L. WWII & PEACETIME Elmer was born in 1928 in Emo, Ontario. During World War II, he joined the Army and served in Canada as a driver in the Tank Corps. Elmer was a member of Kenora Legion Branch 12 for fifty-three years until he passed away in 2005. MORRISSEAU, W. WWII W. Morrisseau enlisted in the Canadian Army in July 1941 in Winnipeg and was discharged there in April 1946. He served as a Private in the Artillery in England and Continental Europe during WWII. He has been a member of Russell Legion Branch 159. MORRISON, William Douglas WWII William was born in Treherne, Manitoba in 1922 and passed away in 1989. He joined the Army and served with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and the 2nd Anti-Tank Regiment in Canada, Britain and Northwest Europe. William was a member of Elmwood Legion Branch 9.
