He served with the Army in the 29 L.A.D. 2 of the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in Canada, Germany, France, Belgium and Holland. George was a member of Henderson Hwy. Legion Branch 215 for forty-one years and Fort Garry Legion Branch 90 for twelve years. He passed away in 1998. MARTEL, Nelson J. WWII Nelson was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1924. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in Canada during World War II. Nelson was a member of St. John Legion Branch 2 for one year and Fort Garry Legion Branch 90 for thirty-nine years before he passed away in 1990. MARSHALL, John A. WWII John was born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1921. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve and served in the Pacific and in Alaska. John has been a member of Ft.
