He joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served as a Wireless Telegraphist Special Operator on HMCS Leaside in the North Atlantic during World War II. He also served on HMCS Chippawa. Mike has been a member of Lawrence Legion Branch 87 for forty years. KILMURY, Clifford A. WWII Clifford was born near Boissevain, Manitoba in 1915. He joined the Army and served in Canada with the 89th Military Detention Barracks. He was a member of Boissevain Legion Branch 10 for more than thirty-five years. Clifford died in 1986. KLIPPENSTEIN, Abram WWII Abram was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1920 and died in 1993. He served as a radio technician with the Royal Canadian Air Force in Canada and England during World War II. Abram was a member of Fort Garry Legion Branch 90 for forty-five years. KING, Alfred G. WWI & WWII Alfred was born in 1890. He enlisted with the 79th Cameron Highlanders and served in Canada, England and France during World War I. He also served in the Second World War with the No.10 Company of the Veterans Guard of Canada. He was a member of Eriksdale Legion Branch 140. Alfred died in 1947.
