Bernice served in Canada as a Nursing Sister with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Bernice has been a member of General Lipsett Legion Branch 99 for fourteen years. CAMPBELL, Bert WWII Bert was born in Edrans, Manitoba in 1919. He joined the Army and served in the Artillery in England, Italy and Holland. He has been a member of Pender Harbour Legion Branch 112 in British Columbia. No additional information is available. CANN, William Lorne PEACETIME William was born in Shoal Lake, Manitoba in 1940. He served with the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in Canada, Germany, Egypt and Israel. William was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for fifteen years. CAMPBELL, Peter F. WWII Peter was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1927. He enlisted in the Canadian Infantry Corps on October 6, 1944 at the age of 17. He served in Canada at Fort Garry, Winnipeg and at Shilo and Brandon (A4). He received a Certificate of Appreciation following his posting at the Experimental Station in Suffield, Alberta. Peter also guarded POWs at Neys, Ontario. After VE Day, he volunteered for the Pacific: however, the war ended prior to any service he may have given in this area and he was discharged on December 14, 1945. Peter has been a member of Brandon Legion Branch 3 for forty-five years.
