He joined the Army and served during World War II with the 24th Field Regiment, 49th Battery, in Italy, Holland, France and in the Aleutian Islands, Kiska. Kenneth was awarded the Star of Italy and the Star of Holland medals. He was a member of the Keewatin Legion Branch 13 for fifty years.
