He enlisted in the 1st Depot Battalion, Manitoba Regiment, Brandon Detachment on January 5, 1918. He arrived in England on March 4 on the S.S. Megantic and was deployed on June 21 when he became part of the 16th Battalion (Canadian Scottish) of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. The service record lists him as being wounded on the 1st of October, which places him as being wounded at the Battle of Arras in Cambrai, France. Arthur was a member of Boissevain Legion Branch 10 until his death in 1961. WRIGHT, Richard F. WWII & KOREA Richard was born in Winnipegosis, Manitoba in 1924. He joined the Army and served with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, the Saskatoon Light Infantry, the Canadian Provost Corps, and the Royal Canadian Medical Corps. He has been a member of Brandon Legion Branch 3. YUZWA, Mike WWII Mike was born in Broad Valley in the Rural Municipality of Chatfield, Manitoba on May 22, 1921. He joined the Canadian Army and served during World War II, from March 23, 1943 until June 7, 1945. He passed away on May 3, 2003. WRIGHT, Walter N. WWII Walter was born in 1919 in Carnduff, Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and was a Leading Aircraftman at No. 3 Wireless School in Tuxedo, Manitoba. He served in Canada, Great Britain, France, Holland and Belgium. Walter may have died around 1990.
