WWII Donald was born in Otterbourne, Manitoba in 1926 and joined the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps in Ottawa, serving in Canada. Donald has been a member of the Selkirk Branch #42 of The Royal Canadian Legion for sixty years. No additional information is available. CHUCKREE, Steve WWII Steve was born in Manitoba in 1920. He enlisted in September 1942 in Dundurn with the 6th Field Park Squadron, Royal Canadian Engineers and served in the European Theatre. He was discharged in April 1946 in Winnipeg and passed away in 1995. Steve was a member of the Russell Branch #159 of The Royal Canadian Legion. CLARK, Stephen David WWII Stephen was born on September 19, 1924 and enlisted with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve in 1943. He took his basic training in Winnipeg, Manitoba then his gunner training in Victoria, BC, with D.E.M.S, Defensively Equipped Merchant Ships. He served on several merchant ships, such as the SS Queens Park and the SS Tabiotic Park, sailing to England, Australia, Ceylon, India, Bombay, Calcutta and Africa, to name a few. Stephen was enlisted for 30 months. In 1947, Stephen married Margaret Warnock and together they raised 7 children, working side by side until Margaret passed away in 2005. Stephen now resides in Minnedosa, MB. CHUCKREE, William James WWII William was born in Manitoba in 1914 and enlisted in December 1942 in Winnipeg with the Royal Canadian Artillery Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders. He served in Canada, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe and the North Pacific. Discharged in May of 1946, he was a member of the Russell Branch #159 of The Royal Canadian Legion for fifty-three years. William passed away in 2002.
