After his military service, he worked on the Canadian National Railway in Swan River and Flin Flon, Manitoba. In 1960, Orville moved to Carberry, MB where he was employed with Simplot. He and his wife Jean (Stephen) raised one son and three daughters. Orville died in Carberry in 1978 from heart disease. BRUCE, Edward Emile WWII Edward was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1921 and joined the Army, serving in Canada, England, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Edward is a member of the Elmwood Branch #9 of The Royal Canadian Legion. BUDNER, Nick WWII Nick was born in Birds Hill, Manitoba in 1915 and joined the Lord Strathcona’s Horse Regiment, serving in Canada, Britain, Italy and Northwest Europe. He passed away in 1991 and had been a member of the Calgary Branch #264 of The Royal Canadian Legion for forty years. BUCHAN, Fred H. WWII Fred was born in Waseca, Saskatchewan in 1927 and joined the Royal Canadian Navy as an air mechanic, serving in Canada and the North Atlantic. When he passed away in 2005, Fred had been a member of the Fort Garry Branch #90 of The Royal Canadian Legion for fifty-two years. No additional information is available.
