He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force (Air Crew) and served in Canada, England, North Africa and Italy. Raymond had been a member of Morden Branch #11 of The Royal Canadian Legion for twenty-five years when he passed away in 1978. ANDREWS, William H. WWII William was born in Sperling, Manitoba in 1905 and enlisted in Winnipeg in October 1940 with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was discharged there in August 1945 after having served in Canada and the United Kingdom. A recipient of the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, William passed away in 1968. BERRY, Wallace L. WWII Wallace was born in Medora, Manitoba in 1917 and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. Wallace was killed in action over Germany in 1941. No additional information is available. BOND (nee BEDDINGTON), Enid E. WWII Enid was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1918 and joined the Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service, serving in Canada. She passed away in 1999 and had been a member of the Fort Garry Branch #90 of The Royal Canadian Legion for twenty-one years. No additional information is available. CARLYLE, Douglas WWI Douglas was born in December 1895, the son of Alexander and Candis Douglas of Griswold. He joined the Saskatchewan Regiment and was killed in action on June 5, 1916. CLEVETT, Arthur William WWII Arthur was born in Souris, Manitoba on September 23, 1922 and passed away on October 25, 1987 at Edmonton, Alberta. He had served three and half years with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. CLEVETT, Howard Laban WWII Howard was born in Souris, Manitoba on February 25, 1924 and passed away on March 22, 2000 at Sarnia, Ontario. He had served with the Royal Canadian Air Force for two years during WWII. COCHRANE, E. H. WWII E. was born in Manitoba in 1912 and enlisted in Winnipeg in November 1941 with the Canadian Parachute Centre, serving in Canada. He was discharged in Winnipeg in December 1945 and passed away in 1960. He was a member of the Russell Branch #159 of the Royal Canadian Legion. COLLIER, Ellis Ferris WWI Ellis was born on October 11, 1886, son of W. and Easter Jane Collier of Souris, Manitoba. He joined the Quebec Regiment, 13th Battalion and was killed in action on September 4, 1916. Ellis is commemorated at the Vimy Memorial Cemetery. COLLINS, Cameron A. WWII Cameron was born in Russell, Manitoba in 1920 and enlisted in Winnipeg in July 1941 with the 2nd Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment (Anti-aircraft guns) and was discharged there in November 1945 after having served in England, France and Germany. He received the 1939-45 Star. Cameron passed away in 1996. COWARD, William Henry WWI William was born in 1894 and joined the 10th Princess Patricia’s Field Ambulance. He served in Canada, England, France and Belgium and was killed in action in 1917. CRAMPAIN, Herbert WWI Herbert was born on January 13, 1896, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Crampain of Griswold. He joined the Canadian Machine Gun Corps, 4th Battalion and was killed in action. Herbert is commemorated at the Vimy Memorial Cemetery. DAVISON, William A. WWI William was born on July 22, 1885. He joined the Saskatchewan Regiment and was killed in action on November 15, 1917. He was the son of J.W. and Charlotte Davison of Beresford.
