WWII Robert was born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1920 and joined the Royal Canadian Army, 8th Field Regiment, serving in Canada, the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean area and Continental Europe. He passed away in 2003 and had been a member of the Brandon Branch #3 of The Royal Canadian Legion for fortyfive years. LANE, Thomas Dewar WWII Thomas was born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1922 and joined the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada, serving in Canada and Continental Europe. He passed away in 1995 and had been a member of the Brandon Branch #3 and Pro Patria Branch #31 Victoria of The Royal Canadian Legion for over ten years. LANE, Thomas B. WWI Thomas was born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1893. He joined the 27th Battalion, City of Winnipeg, and served in England and France. He was awarded the Military Cross at Vimy Ridge and King George V presented him with the Military Cross at Buckingham Palace. Thomas had been a member of the Brandon Branch #3 of The Royal Canadian Legion for fifteen years when he passed away in 1963.
