He joined the 19th Field Regiment, serving in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He has been a member of Brandon Branch #3 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 20 years. CROSS, Alexander WWII Alexander was born in Scotland in 1904. He joined the 5th Field Heigihe Section, Medical Corps serving in Canada, England, Italy, Holland and Belgium. He passed away in 1993 and was a member of the General Sir Sam Steele for 46 years. CURRIE, James WWI James was born in 1895 and joined the 27th City of Winnipeg Battalion. He was killed in action at Vimy Ridge in 1917. CUMMER, Gordon W. WWII Gordon was born in Carman, Manitoba, in 1922. He joined the PPCLI as a Private, serving in the United Kingdom. He received the France/Germany Star. Gordon passed away in 1988, and had been a member of Carman Branch #18 of The Royal Canadian Legion for nine years.
