He joined the RCCS serving in England and Europe. He passed away in 2006 and was a member of the Brandon and Surrey Branches of The Royal Canadian Legion. BILOWUS, John WWII John was born in Gorlitz, SK, in 1925. He served with the 3rd Battalion Occupation Force in Aurich, Germany, and with the South Saskatchewan Regiment in 1945 until near war’s end at Oldenburg. He has been a member of Swan River Branch #39 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 59 years. BLAIR, James Hardie WWI James was born in Carnoustie, Scotland, in 1885. He joined the 127th Unit drafted to the 1st Canadian Railway Troops serving in Canada, Britain and France. He passed away in 1958. BLAIR, Herbert Harold WWII Herbert was born in Miami, Manitoba, in 1920. He joined the Air Force and served in Canada, the UK, and Continental Europe. He passed away in 2004.
