He joined the Army as a mechanic and served in England. He passed away in 1993. ARMSTRONG, Laverne George Roy WWII Laverne was born in 1922, and joined the Cameron Highlanders, Royal Canadian Air Force serving in Burma and England. He passed away in 1975. ARNOTT, David A. SPECIAL AREA DUTY & PEACETIME David was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, in 194. He joined the Queen’s Own Rifles/CAF of Canada in Calgary on May 17, 1960, and served in ten locations in Canada, and three outside of Canada. He retired a Sergeant Administrative Clerk 831 on May 20, 1986. David received the NATO-West Germany 1961-1963 Medal, the United Nations in Cyprus 1970 Medal, the United Nations in Egypt 1978 Medal and the Canadian Forces Decoration and Bar. He is a member of Branch #3 and other branches of The Royal Canadian Legion for over 25 years. ARNOLD, Dennett A. WWII & SPECIAL DUTY Dennett was born in Winnipeg, MB, in 1915. He joined the Army during World War Two, and served in Canada and England with RCASC in 1939, Trans CCFF in 1942, RCNFS in 1945, then joined the Royal Canadian Navy Special Br. in 1951. He is a member of Fort Garry Branch #90 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
