He joined the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps Ontario Regiment, serving in England and Continental Europe. He received the Canadian Forces Decoration (2 Clasps), the Queen Elizabeth Coronation Medal, the Canadian Army Ontario Tank Regiment 19441945, the Royal Canadian Dragoons 1947-1978 – Canada - NATO (Germany) 1957-1959. He has been a member of Gen Lipsett Branch #99 of The Royal Canadian Legion for thirty years. WOOLLARD (nee VANDRUNEN), Margaret WWII Margaret was born in Tinley Park, Illinois, USA, in 1923. She joined the Canadian Women’s Army Corp and was posted in Fort Garry, MB, #4 Coy, Fort Osborne, MB, Brandon, MB, Kitchener, ON, Clerk’s Course. She has been a member of General Lipsett Branch #99 of The Royal Canadian Legion for forty-five years. YANKOSKI, Frank WWII Frank was born in Binscarth, Manitoba, in 1920. He enlisted in Winnipeg in July 1941 with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corp 13th Field Ambulance, serving in Canada, the UK, Italy, France and Germany. He was discharged in Winnipeg in January 1946 and received the 1939-1945 Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, the Italy Star, and the France/Germany Star. Frank passed away in 1995, and was a member of Russell Branch #159 of The Royal Canadian Legion. YANKOSKI, E. T. WWII E. T. Yankoski was born in Binscarth, Manitoba, in 1924. He enlisted in Winnipeg in May 1943 with the CSR, serving in Britain, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany. He was discharged in Winnipeg in March 1946 and received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the 1939-1945 Star and the France/Germany Star Medals. He has been a member of Russell Branch #159 of The Royal Canadian Legion for fifty-nine years.
