She joined the Air Force and served in Winnipeg, Yorkton, Vancouver, Sea Island, and Tofino, BC. Grace is now 86 years old and lives in Brandon, Manitoba. She has been a member of Carberry Branch #153 of The Royal Canadian Legion since 1947. WHALEY, Ken H. WWII Ken was born in Carberry, Manitoba, in 1920. He joined the Army and served in Canada, England, France, Switzerland, Holland, Germany and Belgium. He passed away in 1988, and had been a member of Carberry Branch #153 of The Royal Canadian Legion from 1946-1988. WILLIAMSON, Norris H. WWII Norris was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba, in 1926. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and Army, serving in Canada, England and Germany. Norris had numerous postings during his military career. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and the 1939-1945 CD. Norris joined Stonewall Legion Branch #52 and became President of that Branch and then District Commander of District #5 and then President of the Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario Command from 1997-1999. Norris had been involved with The Legion for thirty years before he passed away in July 2010. WHALL, James Robert WWII James was born in Saskatchewan in 1925. He joined the RCNVR serving in the North Atlantic. James has been a member of Selkirk Branch #42 of The Royal Canadian Legion for fifty years.
