He enlisted in June 1941with the 8th LLA Regiment serving in Canada, England, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany. He was discharged in 1945 and has been a member of Russell Branch #159 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 63 years. ROBINSON, J. C. WWI J. C. was born in England and joined the 222nd Battalion and transferred to the 12th Canadian Forestry Corps serving in England. No further information is available. ROBSON, R. W. “Bob” WWI Bob was born in Deleau, Manitoba, and joined the Royal Flying Corps, then transferred to the Canadian Siberian Expeditionary Forces serving in Canada and Vladivostock, Russia. ROBSON, Earl P. WWI Earl was born in Deleau, Manitoba, in 1896. He joined the 1st Depot Battalion in 1918, and then transferred to the 11th Reserve Battalion A Company, 43rd Cameron Highlands serving in Amiens, Arras, Bourlon Woods and Beuvages on Bruay Sector. His unit also marched into Mens. Earl passed away in 1975.
