Military Service Recognition Book 290 The City of Burnaby is proud to participate in this year’s Remembrance Project honouring our “hometown veterans” who bravely served in World War One, World War Two and the Korean conflict, and those who have served recently or are currently serving in Afghanistan; and the five British Columbia recipients of the Victoria Cross, Canada’s top medal of honour.
