Their unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms and values is deeply appreciated by all residents of Saskatchewan, and it is through this book that we honour their legacy and ensure that their contributions are remembered and celebrated by future generations. The people of Saskatchewan honour the courage of countless men and women who have served our nation with steadfast allegiance. These Veterans made the ultimate sacrifice to defend the values and beliefs we all share. As a province and as a nation, we must uphold these ideals and work towards a world where compassion guides our actions and understanding bridges our differences. I want to recognize and commend the Saskatchewan Command of the Royal Canadian Legion for their dedication and hard work.
