LEST WE FORGET 325 WALLACE, Jim Jr. WWII Jim was born in Ballymena, Ireland, in 1924. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 and was posted with the United Nations in India and Pakistan, and retired from the service in 1977. Jim came with his parents to the White Fox area in 1926 and helped his father farm before enlisting. He passed away in 1983. WALTER, Stanley Roger WWII Stanley was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, in 1925. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve on March 4, 1943. His theatre of service was in Canada and the High Seas on the Eyebright Corvette. He was in the Signal Corps. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, War Medal 1939-1945, and the Royal and Merchant Navy Star. Stanley was a champion swimmer for his regiment in Ottawa. He passed away in Regina, Saskatchewan, in 1986. WALLACE, Jim Sr. WWII Jim was born in Ireland and joined the Air Force in 1940, serving in Europe. Jim and Rachel came to Canada in 1926 to the White Fox area, where he homesteaded and raised six children. Jim is deceased.
