Military Service Recognition Book

LEST WE FORGET 1 A Message from Her Honour the Honourable Bernadette McIntyre As our Sovereign’s representative in Saskatchewan, I am delighted to extend greetings on behalf of His Majesty King Charles III, King of Canada, to the Royal Canadian Legion, Saskatchewan Command and everyone who has supported the creation of the 19th Edition of the Military Service Recognition Book. It is my privilege to act as the Honorary Patron of the Saskatchewan Command. I am proud to serve an organization that is dedicated to the welfare of veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and to ensuring that the service and sacrifice of these veterans is remembered and celebrated. The Legion is to be commended for preserving Canadian history by presenting brief biographies of Saskatchewan’s veterans in this book. By recording and publishing highlights of each individual’s life and contributions, the Legion gives our veterans their due. In addition, families and friends are provided a tangible and lasting tribute to their loved one’s service. I offer my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this meaningful publication. Congratulations on completing the 19th Edition. Best wishes to the Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command as you continue your vital work advocating for our veterans. M. Bernadette McIntyre Lieutenant Governor Province of Saskatchewan
