LEST WE FORGET 253 MORRISON, George Gillespy WWI &WWII George was born in Scotland, UK, in 1894 and joined the Princess Pats in World War I and the Regina Rifles in World War II, serving in France and England. He received the Military Medal and several others. He passed away in 1978 and had been a member of the Balcarres Nutana Branch 362 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 35 years. MORTON, Orville Raymond WWII Orville was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, on September 29, 1925. He joined the Army in January 1943 and was a Lance Corporal Gunner receiving his discharge on February 28, 1946. He received the France and Germany Star and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Orville was employed with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool before and after joining the Army. He passed away on March 2, 1982. MORRISON, John Duncan WWII John was born in Pelly, Saskatchewan, in 1925. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force at the age of eighteen, and was killed in a plane crash in 1943 during a training exercise in England.
